The rise of social networks

In the year 2005, Twitter did not exist. In fact, social media was in its infancy. Companies such as Facebook were about to take the internet by storm with their rapid expansion to global markets. There were no hashtags or tweets yet. It's been over 15 years since then, and social media has evolved drastically from when it was first created into what we know now.

The development and expansion of social platforms also increased the need for content and influencers willing to share experiences, feelings, and knowledge to fill the content-gap. Being an influencer still does require a vast online presence to fill this ever-present need for content from followers, subscribers, and friends alike. This can put a huge burden and stress on content-creators.

The dark side of social networks

It is often barely visible to viewers, followers, and subscribers. Still, a search can make this problem quickly visible as burnout among content creators is real. This is a quote from a content-creator from an article in The Guardian.

“It’s not enough to simply create great things,” he says. “The audience expect consistency. They expect frequency. Without these, it’s incredibly easy to slip off the radar and lose favour with the algorithm that gave you your wings.”

Additionally, in her article Beating Creator Burnout: 5 Tips for Managing Stress writes that if "you’re not feeling it, don’t force yourself to create", and "allow yourself to prize quality over quantity".

"It is impossible to always be first. Even Usain Bolt didn’t cross the finish line before everyone else in every race he ever ran and he’s widely considered to be the greatest sprinter of all time. Remind yourself that if you aren’t able to post about something before everyone else, that’s okay. You’ll get ‘em next time."

We second that and, as we're active Twitter users ourselves. That is why we want to provide a tool that gives content-creators on Twitter the ability to provide rich content while also being happy and healthy.

How we can help is a service that helps you plan out your tweets ahead of time and lets you decide when to publish them so the audience sees them at just the right moment.

While developing the application, we had you - our users - in mind. We wanted to enable you to achieve the following goals:

  • Decrease the need to manually publish content every hour or so to keep your audience engaged.
  • Create content for days or weeks in advance when you are in the right mood.
  • Set up a timetable for the publication of your created tweets.
  • Relax while we focus on posting your content at the planned time - day or night - on Twitter.
  • Spend more time with family and friends or focus on the next big thing without worrying too much about your social media presence.

How it works

To benefit from our services, you don't need to change a lot of your content-creation routine. Instead of creating your tweets directly on Twitter, you can use our tools to compose, schedule, and publish content.

Our Tweet Composer allows you to create simple tweets and - in future - threads. The built-in preview will immediately show what your content will look like on Twitter. The preview includes hashtags, cashtags, mentions, and the number of characters you have left before you reach the character limit.

Our Tweet Scheduler is the tool of choice for planning the publication date of your tweets. Depending on your subscription, you can schedule tweets for up to one year in the future. You choose a date, we post your message at the exact time.

The Tweet Overview shows all currently scheduled tweets sorted by date. This gives you an idea about what and when your content will be published on your Twitter feed. This tool, of course, allows you to edit, reschedule, and delete tweets.

With, we want you to be able to regain control of your personal and professional life. You can create content whenever you are in the right mood and provide this content automatically to your followers whenever they want it. With this ability to decouple content creation from content publication with our service, you can focus on other aspects of your life while we focus on getting your message out.

We sincerely hope to provide a service that supports a healthy lifestyle. If you have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out via @stfsy.
